Can you give some examples of the toxic positivity? I have not seen much of this myself. I see a lot of stutterers that come here and expect something resembling a solution. And then they get frustrated when they're told the best way to deal with stuttering is to not deal with it. But instead work on the feelings it produces. I don't think anyone is suggesting any of this is easy. Just change your mindset. Yes. It's a simple concept, but far from easy. It can take many years of growth and development to reach that "I don't care" attitude.
