I just found this sub a few days ago and it broke my heart when I realized that many of us cannot even speak our own names. I stutter moderately but I’ve always been fluent with the consonant that my name starts with. So for that reason I just never thought about it. Btw, on our second or third date, my now-wife and I went out to breakfast and even though I had a really hard time with “m’s” I ordered the English muffins, and sure enough, I took about three seconds to say muffin. I was mortified, but she thought it was endearing and she used the word “honest.” We’ve been together for 44 years now.
