Finding strength to be and stay optimistic despite having a stutter Stuttering has plagued my life to the point where I can't speak a single coherent sentence without stuttering. It has ruined potential friendships and relationships and negatively affected my self-esteem and confidence to the point where I become depressed seeing my peers living and enjoying their life while I struggle with just being able to say my name. I'd like to know how and where you find the strength to stay optimistic despite having a stutter because whenever I want to make a change with myself, I can't get over past events and what I've missed out on due to my own insecurities? Thanks to all who answer.
