I have received speech therapy in the past for about 4 months (total). I am not currently in speech therapy, but I'm very active about when I had speech problems. During any block I would ease out of it slowly, I would avoid any negative thoughts, and I would sometimes practice the "correct" way of saying words and remember how my muscles felt, then when I stuttered I would just try and recreate the proper feeling/movement of every muscle during fluent speech. If you want more specific, additional techniques I used tell me. Or if you have questions about anything else.
