Meditation is to absolve yourself from the cursed voice in your head so as to purely be present without interruption or doubt. It is to be without self review, in full acceptance. There is no thought. These are usually also the factors which make most psychological stutterers stutter. Like me. Do however you please but it seems to me based on your answer meditation can still greatly aid you if properly invested in. There are subs for meditation which is often a good place to start. Edit: or simply feel better about yourself (simple right?). This done via boosting your self confidence which in turn is done via achieving and helping others. Achieving via raising skills or whatever and helping other by investing in your environment more. Both will generate genuine appreciation for yourself which will help your stutter and do a whole lot more for you. Both meditation or confidence boosting will take time and work and both are boons for life.
