Was there an age you realize you stutter?

Was there an age you realize you stutter? This sounds odd but I don’t ever recall stuttering from an early age, I have no memory of myself stuttering until I was like 11 years old. My voice started to deepen at that age.. and I noticed people having a harder time understanding whenever I spoke. My stutter isn’t like “s-s-s-s” it’s more like “ssss” like the words can’t come out
