Hey man I dont know how you find your way on reddit with this but this is coming from a guy who has stuttered all of his 27 years on this planet. I myself had plenty of speech therapy lessons in grade school and sometimes during summer break a few times. I want you too know your folks arent "ganging" up on you, they are really trying to help you. Believe me, I was there in your shoes at 13, wanting to feel normal and disliked anything to do with speech therapy or with any assistance to my speech; but my friend you have to understand don't take this extra help for granted. Today I stand I here now almost having the worse stutter fits of my life, its kind of messing with my mental now as an adult, so trust me stay in those speech classes and do whatever they tell you to do. Of course if you dont find a certain trick that helps, dont quit, keep trying over and over again; and also dont be afraid to let whoever your speech therapist know the true you and be grateful for their help. You dont want to end up like me years later who is now still avoiding the human population and has that underlying fear of speaking. Just stick with it, hope this helps.
