I never, ever, stutter when I talk to myself -- in the car, late at night, in the office, whatever. It's annoying when you're going to a meeting and you know you have to introduce yourself. So you spend the entire car ride saying your name out loud over and over and over again ... and then of course stutter on it during the introductions. Also, there's this fascinating thing I found out about my stuttering and the mute button during conference calls: http://helloistutter.com/2014/05/08/conference-calls/
