This is an excellent post, thanks for writing. Funny, I quit using most interjections like "um" and "like" but actually is one of my go-to words. Never really classified it as an interjection but I think it is. Thanks for pointing that one out to me. >I've made it a point to not avoid stuttering, but instead to stutter gracefully and productively. I think that was a big part of how I've come to appreciate my stutter, and think of it as a part of myself that isn't worthy of hate, resentment, or avoidance. Ding ding ding we have a winner. For some people showing stuttering is the worst thing in the world and anything is better, even sounding airheaded. While I do think if he feels comfortable with himself then good for him, but at the same time I dont think feeling comfortable with talking like airhead is a very good thing.
