It's less of a problem because we still live in a culture where males are expected to make the first move. Confidence can be attractive to males, but is in general less important than physical attractiveness and personality when it comes to attractiveness. While for females it's often the most important trait a potential partner must have. I wasn't trying to insult you or anything. English isn't my primary language, so I might have not worded it properly. I don't deny that it's a big challenge for females too. It's definitely is! I just think for males it's even harder.
