I am seeing a speech therapist, now facetiming once a week since I am back in university and we focus on desensitizing negative feelings of stuttering by enforcing various techniques. One such technique is reading a passage or article and forcing myself to stutter. By forcing a block or a skip, I am learning to control my stutter.
