I had a blockbuster job as a cashier, it was way easier and more fun than I thought.  At that time I still couldn't do phone calls but ringing people up felt like talking with the wind, nothing particular to say so it was easy and built my confidence so by the time I needed to say something important I felt good anyway.  Its just another thing, think of it like any chore, nothing special, even relaxing because its so easy going.
