I feel like for me, because I stutter, and the anxiety of the anticipation that I will stutter makes it worse. Also, because I try so hard to hide it and not let people know I stutter, it happens more and makes me afraid to speak. So sometimes just disclosing u have a stutter can be a bit freeing. I started doing this at my new job rn, and I plan on telling them because when I know I need to do something to speak and it happens it’s worse because I’ve tried hiding it. If that makes sense. Please don’t let it hold you back! It’s ok if ur not ready, but eventually start slowly. I’ve left jobs because of my stutter and the humiliation and terrible things I’ve been told. So it’s ok. Don’t beat yourself up. Another opportunity will come
