Hey man! Been through it all throughout highschool. Truth is.. who cares? Hear me out. You should have that mentality. Here is the main reason; stuttering usually worsens when one feels anxiety. It could be a vicious cycle...- stutter, then feel down, stutter more. If you learn not to care, then instead of the cycle, you could just stutter, be optimistic (while letting others know your okay with it, and you dont care therefor people making fun of you wont get that satisfaction).... and then it stops there. You wont get that anxiety assocaited stutter. If you do end up stuttering again.. who cares? Its easier said then done because high school can seem shitty when things dont go your way. Just know that its possible to have a stutter and have a lot of friends. Just accepted that others may put you down for it. But trust me its not your stutter thats making them do it. In high school, people will try to prank you and put you down anyways. Even friends (atleast my friends would). Come up with comebacks, and come up with ways to cope, or 'quick off your toes' sayings that would let them know that you dont care. What you should do is practice meditation. This could change your life, and breathing exercises. Practice awareness and focus and use it to efficiently use your techniques. You just moved so thats a change. You will get adjusted, just know that there is alot of psychology you can master to help yourself. And all that itll end with is just acceptance. When your out of highschool then that game of 'ripping on your friends' diminishes. I know that im making it all seem easy. But I empathize with you, I know that moving can be hard, and all that change. But be confidnent, be yourself, and fucking love yourself. Why? because others will feed off of them vibes and want to be around you. I gave you very informal advice (just typed away without editing), so let me know if you need any more advice. Good luck buddy, best of luck with your new high school... and remember... acceptance. You wont see any results right away, but its a process.
