What's your job and how did you get it?

What's your job and how did you get it? I'm a translator, and I have a fair amount of experience, but lately I've been having a lot of trouble during interviews. As soon as the interview starts and the hiring manager talks to me, I freeze and can barely get a word out, even if I rehearsed my speech 100 times over. I guess I'm just looking for inspiration and hope, so I wonder if any of you guys managed to get through an interview for a job you looked forward to having. ​
