Do you find you stutter more when in a loud (perhaps hyper stimulating?) environment?

Do you find you stutter more when in a loud (perhaps hyper stimulating?) environment? I was ordering from Subway yesterday and when I was in line at the cafeteria (on campus) it was very loud and I asked for "Chipotle sauce" and the lady couldn't hear me, I said it again, she couldn't hear me again, and then I blocked and couldn't say it and just said never mind. This was so god damn frustrating because I've been so good with remaining calm, keeping my heart rate low, speaking slowly, breathing. But when I am in an environment where a lot is happening (maybe overstimulation?) I stutter.
