I can't say my own name sometimes

I can't say my own name sometimes My last name starts with a "B" which can be difficult for me (along with other hard contact letters/sounds) when I'm nervous...which usually only happens around strangers or meeting new people. Introducing myself in professional settings is...daunting. I've started to just use my first name but I dont feel that is a good solution either. I linked my first and last name with an "uh" once and someone responded "You don't even know your last name?" They meant it as a joke to break the ice but it really stung. Any advice?
