I can never outright say my name so I always repeat back to them, “my name is blank” but the other problem is if I’m on a day when I can’t say my then I’m just screwed all around. Alternatively the older I’ve gotten I just stare at a person until I’m able to get it out and if their rude enough to make a comment I immediately state I have a speech impediment and they shouldn’t point out peoples disabilities. They are usually embarrassed and apologize. And if they DONT then those aren’t people you need to be around.
