Thanks for sharing your story. We all know what you’re going through. We have been through it too. If your anxiety is so high in social settings, I think you could benefit from anti anxiety meds and some CBT therapy. University is tough to begin with, and having to deal with a stutter just makes things MUCH worse. Address your anxiety so you can put your best foot forward through your university years. Have you had any speech therapy before? Learning fluency shaping strategies will help you a lot too. Try not to over think your stutter and don’t mind read what others *might think* about your stutter. It will only debilitate you more.
