Honestly want to know (preferablly opinion of someone who doesnt/not always stuttered) what does the person listening think off the stutterer So recently ive started taking initiative towards improving myself. Ive been going out more and in general, talking to ppl, exercising etc... instead of toiling in depression. Even tho ive had a few failures here and there, so far ive been quite successful and have met alot of people. Thing is at the same time ive been able to control my stutter to around 85% less for the past two months (i dont know how, maybe some breathing techniques + concetration). But even then i guess people eventually realize i stutter but what i didnt expect is that people havent changed there attitude towards me even knowing that which is weird since most of my past experiences had been radically opposite. Now this has me wondering if stuttering was the problem to begin with or if it is just/mostly the lack of confidence.?? i experienced alot of bullying in regards to my stutter all throughout my school years and although i am by no means a shy person this killed my confidence i was very quiet and not a very liked person growing up, and i attributed that to stuttering.
