Seldom told truths about stuttering and therapy Hi everyone, Stuttertalk just had a 5 session series with a brilliant SLP by the name of Vivian Sisskin. Throughout the series they talk about a lot of counter intuitive perspectives and how many of the common therapy strategies are often counter-productive. Now just a reminder, this isnt advocation for a certain approach or discrediting other therapries methods because we all know that different things work for different people, since we are all different and stutter differently. But I wanted to share because I think these are rarely heard ideas that can speak to a lot of people. http://stuttertalk.com/
