You need to talk to more girls. It really is a numbers game. The more people you meet and interact with, the more chance you'll have making a positive connection. It's also important to mix in very different circles. Don't just hang around the same group of people, branch out, take classes, do other activities, mix with others. And don't forget my statement above about not even being aware of girls around me who were interested in me despite my stutter. At the time, I was so deep in 'poor me, no one likes me because I stutter' I wasn't paying attention to those around me and missed these opportunities to connect.
