Thx bro ^^ I have already given up any hope on "standard" therapist (psy, speech therapist) cause i always felt they understand nothing about what stuttering really is. The last psychologist i saw told me that my stuttering comes from my social phobia, my fear of other people. Thats completely stupid and false, stuttering creates fear of talking to others and not the opposite. My stuttering is not just very intense but also troublesome cause im making some noisy sharp voices (zzzz , chhhhhh, aaaaaa ) and that bothers my entourage. For almost 23 years of existence, i have been searching on internet in just frensh forum. So i dont have any idea about english therapist but i participated to a stage made by a french therapist who created his own methode . His name is Ivan Impoco and that method consists on doing muscle contraction for each syllable. That worked for me like charm during the 3 days of this stage and that was a real miracle but the stress of real life doesnt help me out and i fell in a deep depression thinking that i have lost forever the only hope for me to escape all this. It works for me during the stage because everything was favorable right there, good mood, stutters friends around me, everyone supporting each others, the idea of a real curse and espacially no stress and pression. This stage cost me alot of money, in my country the minimal salary is 150€ and the stage cost 800€. Its like you are living in UK and the stage cost 5k £. My father accepted to let me participate a second time but the result was not as a good as the first time, something changed in me. I become very depressive and pessimist and that does not help me out. So, my father lost 1600€ and he didn't appreciate that at all !!! He treated me as a failure .. Thx for the link im gonna check it out ^^ There is a video about this method, but it is in french. If you want me to make subs, im here :) http://www.wat.tv/video/enfer-begues-1ap80_2flv7_.html
