Thanks for your input. If you don't mind me asking, are you a 'covert' or 'overt' stutterer? Covert being you mostly hide your stutter and not a lot of people can tell immediately, overt being maybe a bit more severe and stuttering more often - not able to hide. Just curious as they may have different effects depending on how severe the individuals stutter is. I've recently been diagnosed with ADHD and looks like I may get to try out the medications I mentioned earlier. I'm a covert myself and constantly scan and replace words in my head prior to speaking. My mind runs at 110% in speaking situations - it's exhausting.
