Drinking alcohol makes me stutter less So I am usually quite an anxious person, mostly due to my stutter, but also to my lack of social skills. I went to a party and after a few drinks, I noticed that my anxiety has vanished, and my speech sounded a lot better. This helped me realise that my anxiety is the main cause of my stuttering. These two seem interconnected and influence each other, leading to a vicious cycle, that I need to break. Do you have any techniques (getting drunk is not accepted:)) of breaking this cycle?
