I have a mild stutter than can get very severe in certain situations. I had to take a public speaking class last year because it was a requirement. At first it really sucks, but you just have to push through it. I had to give four speeches and I stuttered through every single one of them, however, my classmates and professor completely understood. Once you stop caring what people think of you, it gets much easier. After taking that class, I have grown in my confidence considerably; I highly recommend it.
