May I ask if you have or would consider speech therapy to improve your speech? Personally, I have had years and years of speech therapy and it helped me immensely. There’s no quick fix for us but I found therapy worked for me immensely. Also, we have a gift in opinion. We were given this burden for a reason. If you decide to look up at the sky and say why me? Just know it’s bc we’re lucky. Yes, I know it’s not lucky to be a guy stuttering when speaking to a girl. Or anyone. But deep down I feel it’s a gift bc of the perspective I’ve gained from my stutter. It has allowed me to look at the world in a different way. I continue to work on my speech to this day and I would recommend you never just accept what is, even though we will live with this, and I urge you to try to improve your speech when you can.
