Good for you. Don't paint everyone in the same brush though. It feels good in concept but we're on the mercy of other people even if we decide to be shameless. Especially with severe stutter. I cannot just decide that today I want to go in management or sales because no one would accept it and i'll be terrible at the job. It's not just the bitterness here, My stammer is so severe that sometimes a word doesn't come out for upto 30 seconds just for me to be stuck on the next. That job is impossible for me, not just shameful. Same for a lot of the other things. I have decided to not deny my heart, as u say, by writing what I want instead, giving up on speech altogether. But there is definitely a lack of choice.
