Web app (market research) I am an entrepreneur with a stutter. One of my main criteria for selecting a new venture is to solve a problem. Since discovering this subreddit and a [self-therapy book](http://www.stutteringhelp.org/sites/default/files/migrate/book0012_11th_ed.pdf) a few months ago, my stutter has significantly improved to the point that my friends even comment on the change. I have always hidden from the fact that I stutter but now with my new mindset of taking my stuttering head on, it is perfect time to develop a web app to give back. I am considering developing an interactive training web (and mobile) app that goes through the various steps I used to help improve my stutter. It would be loosely based around the book mentioned above. If you haven't read the book yet, I HIGHLY recommend it. Uses: 1. A user will practice their speech with various guided training exercises on easy and hard words (5~30 minutes a day) 2. Log data into a journal about their speech performance for the day 3. Set and record challenges for the day (ex: talk on phone for X amount of time) 4. Participate in community challenges Some questions: Do you think the app would help? If not, why? How frequently would you use the app? What other features would you like to see? Lastly, I would like to work with a licensed speech pathologist on this project.
