I've had around 3-4 speech therapy teachers in the past 7 years. It really varies from teacher to teacher. Some teacher are useless and just tell you what you've been hearing for years. Talk slower, think about what your going to say before you speak. Some will embarrass the hell out of you if you're shy. Sing this paragraph to me, talk in a really high/low voice and say this. This is to show you that you don't stutter when you use these techniques. My favorite teachers are the ones who you get to just talk to and practice speech. You just talk about life and they correct you when you stutter. One teach had a recorder and allowed me to hear myself every time I stutter. the thing that you will like about this it that if you feel insecure about your stuttering. While your in therapy it kinda feels like it okay to stutter and they are there to help you. Good luck.
