Thanks for the encouraging words. I agree with everything you've said, but we all know it's hard to put things in to practise and be positive about our stutters at times. I'm just in one of those funks right now. I'm sorry to hear that you were ridiculed in school, that's absolutely awful and nobody should ever go through that. I'm quiet and extremely convert, so people don't generally notice, but it's not so much about what others think, it's about the turmoil in my head. It's awful, knowing you'll block on a word and frantically having to ummm and ahhh until you find a replacement or eventually g-g-get it out, it's tiring and stressful. It is also embarrassing. I know no drug can cure me, and I know I will never be rid of my blocks, but if I could just chill out about it in my mind, I feel like it'd make things easier.
