How can I overcome slight stuttering and slurring while speaking in my second language (English)?

How can I overcome slight stuttering and slurring while speaking in my second language (English)? I can pronounce almost every single word perfectly when I say them individually, however, I struggle connecting the words well without a stutter. Did anybody else encounter this problem? And what can I do to help myself?
