Stimulant drugs improve it A LOT - what does this mean? Hey guys, I refuse to believe it is a permanent, neurological issue. I don't want to. I believe that if I change my mood and general state, I may be able to overcome it one day. **My issue is that I block, and in my worst bouts, I feel like I can barely speak. No repetitions**. I have had PERFECTLY fluent times on MDMA. I know it relaxes you and is a very powerful drug, so I cannot hope to be that fluent in my sober life, but it goes to show that, with some tweaks to my brain chemistry, I can be fluent. Caffeine massively increases my mood, just as MDMA does (but obviously caffeine's effect is way weaker). Once I get the caffeine rush, my anxiety *massively improves*, as does my clarity of mind and mood - with these things improved, my speech is **so much better**. Coffee helps me so much, to the extent that I would be petrified of going to the dentist having not had coffee, but can just about get through it fine if I have. I think the reason caffeine helps me block less is because it gives me a bit of euphoria, which would make sense, as MDMA gives me ultimate euphoria and ultimate fluency. As I don't actually randomly stutter *once* I start speaking (my issue is literally anxiety in the initiation of speech, which makes me feel like I can't talk), I feel like it makes sense that a flood of dopamine and consequent increased mood could actually eliminate my issue. So, do you think the rise in dopamine is helping me overcome my anxiety and hence speak better? What can I do with this knowledge - are there any supplements that work similarly to a traditional stimulant? Any ways (meditation) to naturally be a more euphoric person?
