Hey man, I feel your pain. I was somewhat forced into a call centre job last year. I worked there for a year and started when I was 18. I went into a massive dark place for a while but I got the hang of it. I subconsciously had a script planned out and it got easier and easier. I found that going back to work after a couple days off were the worst but you get right back into it. Ive left now after 13 months there and although I HATEDDDDD it... Im still here. Im still breathing. Youre going to be rusty at the start. everyone is. We just have it slightly harder but oh well! I know you posted this just to vent your situation but heres a few tips that might help you. Try acting? - If youre on a phone call then the customer cant see you. you can potentially turn into anyone you want to be. I remember changing the tone of my voice and using a ton of hand gestures and that helped out. And just take one day at a time. "Just think of the moneyyyyy" and all that crap haha. but on a serious note, in the future, youll be thinking back to it realising it wasnt as bad as you thought. Just power through and keep going! Youve got everyone here to speak to :) take care
