How open are you about your stutter? Does being more explicit help? I usually only speak to my family and close friends about my stutter. I'm sure the I people see on a regular basis know I have a stutter, but it is just not something I talk openly about. I want to try a new approach on things - I think being more open about my stutter will help me "own" it. I just transferred to a new university and now that I'm living in a new place, surrounded my new people, I think this is a good opportunity to try this. How open are you about your stutter? Do you find that being more open about it helps?
