I think they mean stop trying to force the sound. Relax the tension in your mouth and exhale. Inhale slowly, keeping your mouth and throat relaxed, and try again. Easier said than done for sure. I always think I’ll be able to get it out if I just push a little harder so mentally it’s hard to reset. But 9 times out of 10 it ends up taking longer than if I were to stop and reset.
