I've viewed at as a super efficient friend filter. If I was fluent, I wouldn't want to associate with those who aren't open minded enough to accept the possibility of someone who stutters being inferior in any way. I try to stay positive. I feel, thinking what could have been is ultimately counterproductive. I know where you're coming from. I wish the best for you!
