There is no guarantee your kids will start to stutter, it's just more likely than if you didn't stutter. And if they do, you will be their father (guessing you're a guy 🙂) , and you know everything about stuttering already. Also, stuttering treatment for kids before school age is effective, there are multiple programs for preschoolers. I stutter myself, and my son started stuttering when he was 2.5. We started with a program called Palin PCI, and are now moving on to mini-kids, it's a little known program but the one that makes the most sense to me in the long run. He'll b 4 in december. Stuttering has decreased a lot. I don't belive it will go away completely, but there's a huge difference between very severe and mild stuttering.
