I've been a Redditor for six years and don't want to risk doxing myself, so I created this new account as more of a public profile account. Thank you so much for posting about the Stutter Social hangouts. I'm one of the co-founders, David Resnick. I am a person who stutters, and I started Stutter Social so that anyone in the world with an Internet connection and a webcam/mic can meet and talk to other people who stutter. We function as a sort of global support group, chatting about topics relating to stuttering (how our families handle our stuttering, stuttering in school, etc.) and also regular everyday topics (funny videos, traveling...) We're currently hosting three hangouts per week, which are group video chats where up to ten people at a time can interact. People from all over the world join. The schedule is on [our website](http://stuttersocial.com) We welcome newbies and are a very friendly bunch. We also have an app that you can find on our website. The app is like a private Facebook group so we can have interactions outside of the hangouts too. If anyone has any questions, I'm happy to answer!
