The "sensitization' treatment of putting yourself in uncomfortable situations is such a bullshit therapy modality. It's almost like it worked with one patient who had a mild stutter and now every therapist thinks it's a cure-all. We stutter. Every day is uncomfortable. Every encounter is uncomfortable. You'd think we'd be sensitized by now!
