I am not sure. Definetly, it was an handicap. When you want to say something and that your own body doesn't let you do it, it's an horrible feeling. On the other hand, it has also pushed me to try things that I would have not done otherwise. I have done theater and speech classes because I wanted to improve it, and took psychologist lessons, which gave me more reflexion and knowledge of myself. + Sometimes I unexpectedly feel more bold than some of my friends. I experienced so much time the feeling of humiliation after talking with stutter, that it has anesthesized me. What's worst can happen then what I already experienced hundred of times, talking to this stranger to ask for our way ? When you are on the bottom of the well, everything is easier haha I really can't say if I will be on a better place without it or not...
