I haven't used Siri or Google Voice, but I wonder if its the same principle as stuttering over the phone or over an intercom system? I don't know if I necessarily stutter over the phone because I'm speaking to another person. The hardest thing for me with the phone is the initial "Hello" into the phone. In person I almost never stutter on an initial greeting.
