I'll be 30 this year and have never had anything but blocks. When I was a kid, I'd get a block on every other word I'd say. Or multiple blocks in one word. Today, its only in the beginning of a multi-syllable word that has a "hard start." For example, D's (as in "delivery") and C's (as in "clear"). This is why I always order pizza online. If I can't order it online, I don't order it. Or, I cheat and say "Livery." The person on the other end seems confused, but gets the hint.
