well this is a question for your doctor. Would for example a beta blocker “cure” your stutter? My first guess would be no of course not, but on the other hand the situation you describe does suggest that anxiety is a necessary and sufficient trigger, so perhaps it would. Anxiety does make my stutter worse, but I have found breathing exercises to be helpful.
