my flavor of stutter is not particularly covert-friendly - it becomes fairly obvious after a couple of sentences. When meeting someone new it's sometimes funny to observe their faces become stained at first, and gradually relax after a while as they begin to catch up. i rarely consider it a real issue though, except when talking in front of a crowd.
