Credentials: I'm an speech therapist in a high school and I work with kids your age who stutter and their teachers/parents. Unless your stutter is causing big issues in your classes (e.g. you refuse to do a presentation), I doubt your teachers will bring it up unless your parents specifically ask. Your teachers probably have a zillion other things to talk about in a very short time frame (my high school doesn't even do parent-teacher conferences because of how long it would take!). Is your stutter something that's weighing heavily on you or impacting you academically? Your school should 100% have a speech therapist available to you (if not, they're breaking the law!). I work in a large high school and currently have 4 teens who stutter on my caseload and I know there's some covert stutters out there in the general population who were never identified for services. I'm sorry your parents aren't open about stuttering with you. Do you feel close to any of your teachers? Have you ever talked to any of them about it? They might be able to give you some feedback on how they feel it's affecting your academics. Feel free to PM me if you ever want to chat about accessing therapy services at your school. Based on your comment that you "feel bad and wrong" talking about your stutter to your parents, I'm going to make a suggestion that you seek out your school's speech therapist to talk about why you feel that way.
