Dude I can so relate to this. I too lock up on any other words other than thank you or other commonly said words. Idk maybe you could find some kind of ice breaker that would introduce yourself as a stutterer and is also kinda funny. Like do a porky pig impression 😅. Just be sure she knows who porky pig is first though...
