I think I might stutter but only when anxious?
Content
I think I might stutter but only when anxious? I find that whenever I get nervous or anxious, I end up stuttering slightly around people. I've read that stuttering isn't caused by anxiety but the other way around and so I don't know if I actually have a stutter. I've got mild social anxiety and so if I'm talking to someone I don't know then I notice I stutter slightly, but once I gain confidence it disappears. I can talk normally to most people, it's just when I get stressed and anxious that it happens. Does this actually count as a stutter because it only happens when I'm nervous? It doesn't seem like it could be but I don't know.
