100% fluency with this is quite the feat! I'm glad you seem to have such great sucess with it. For me, I was taught this is my school speech therapy but I admittedly never gave it much effort until recently. Chopping words up into breakable sounds does seem to ease up my stutter a bit, but I really only focus on breaking it up into two parts, the first sound and all of the rest. I've particularly noticed increases in fluency and diction with chopping up numbers; its almost become a habit. S-ix. S-even. T-wo. My attempts usually include harshly getting out the first sound, than being able to say the second part, usually starting in a vowel sound (which I have less trouble with), with relative ease. However, I have tried this method with my name many times and its still impossible for me to say! Why do our names have to be so hard? Of course, you could try the opposite route: speaking by flowing all of the sounds together lllliiiiiikkkkeeee aaaannnn iiiinnnfffiinnniiittttee wwaaaavvvvee ooofffff ssssooooooouuuunnnndddddd. Unfortunately, I find this method more embarrassing to speak in regular conversation with, although I liked it more in speech therapy because I found greater success in it, in terms of speaking proficiently. I wish I didn't though, and the vast majority of people I know are supportive and patient enough to probably not care. Anyways, I'm glad you found something that works very well for you! Ch-eers and g-ood l-uck!
