Nope. Its a way to accept what is not even there. It just reinforces that you are insecure about your stutter and its a compulsive behavior. It is borderline OCD. There are 1000s of opportunities to speak - at work, in life, while shopping, running errands. You don't have to go out of your way. Instead find something you are ambitious about or think about something that you would do if you were cured and just do it. You will get **organic** opportunities that way. Is this approach worked for you it doesn't mean its right. There is literally 0 reason to do it intentionally when you can do it organically
